Many tales have been told about German occupation across the globe, but none have spent much time exploring how the Germans endeared themselves to a continent of Africans until now. Tropical Paradise draws back the sheets to show us just what really happened when the Germans invaded Africa, taking us behind the scenes in a way no war documentary has ever done, and all on a "king size video tape".
There are lessons to be learnt here, namely that Germans need love too.
